   Yay! so me and my group have fully finished since yesterday. How amazing is that, another project done right. I had fun with this one since I got to go out and film this time. We all worked hard and did our best. I feel like the music video is great since we made it ourselves. I am so proud of what we have accomplished. It was really fun and I can't wait to do it again. Me and my group work well together, this wouldn't have been possible without our team work. And our dedication. Now let us see the video! 

Continuing to edit

                                                          Editing our music video

   hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am continuing to edit our music video. By ours I mean my group of course. I was in the middle of of doing it yesterday and all I can say is stressful. I am sort of a perfectionist and every little thing I see as wrong upsets me. Then I try to fix it but I always see a problem it in. So for editing looking at it makes me think of all the things that are wrong with it. so I decided to start again. I looked at all the clips and resized them and cut them. To make sure they perfectly in landscape. Also so they don't see the little mistakes or delayed starts we had. I again change the speed of some of the scenes because I felt they were either too long or too short. I also added our music and made the song a little louder. I added a fade in to start since I didn't want it to feel like a sudden start. I also plan to do the same thing when I get to the end. I changed the sharpness of the scenes, doing that increases the quality. It didn’t take too long since I did it all before. I feel like the quality of our scenes are amazing and doing this highlights that fact. Also I had the mix the scenes together to make our story clear. I am not done yet, but I am almost finished. I can’t wait to see what it looks like all done. I know I will be proud of what every I end up doing.

Time to edit

 Hello again! Yesterday me and my team went to the park and got all of our filming finished. Yayyy, big accomplishment. It went completely well and it was really fun. We have some long scenes that could be a pain to edit. The editing part will be more time consuming than fun though. So I have to start the editing today. I mostly definitely won’t get it done right now though. Since I am doing all of the editing for my group. Alone! But that is fine since I know how to edit pretty well. First for the music video I have to first download the song and add it in. Which I did using Spotify, I then cut the song to make it shorter. Making sure that I did at a good spot and then fading out the sound, so it doesn’t sound like it ended abruptly. I then add add the first clips in. I like to add transitions when I edit, I ended up wanting to do that later. I took off the sound of the clips, so that you can’t hear us talk. I also changed the hue/saturation a little to something I liked more. I then added that to the clips. Then I started to cut the clips that were too long. And changing the timing of clips to match the sound well. I didn’t finish with that but I will continue later.

Starting to film

 Hello! So yesterday my group got to start filming. We started after school on Tuesday. We were decided where to film for a while 2 weeks ago. We tried to pick a place that was close to the school so we could all go without a problem. We ended up going to a park that really close to school. And I mean it when I say really close, like only 10 minutes maximum walk. So after school else agreed to meet up and walk there together. And when we got there is when we found out unfortunate news. The playground in the park was closed! We wanted to use the swings in one of our scenes. So we ended up having to change our whole scene idea. And that was for multiple scenes since we had the playground in mind for all of them. We ended up not being able to film any scenes then. Which wasn’t too bad since we weren’t going to film much then any since one of our group mates wasn’t there. So for the rest of the time we were there we came up with ideas on how to utilize the result of the park. And we came up with some great ideas that were better than our original ones. We decided to leave the park like 30-40 minutes later. It felt like a waste that we couldn’t film but I feel like it was a blessing in disguise. Since we were able to rethink and better our ideas for when we actually film. You always need to know how to move forward when things happen, and I think we did that well.  

  

Setbacks

 Hello! Yesterday me and my group mates were supposed to film for our music video yesterday. We were planning to go to the park to start it out. We planned it out so well too, however the weather had other plans. It was pouring rain yesterday almost the whole day, especially after school. And when I say pouring I mean pouring, it was so bad it felt like it was a hurricane. So we obviously couldn’t go to the park which was too bad. We are still going to be okay with filming since we already know exactly what we’re going to do. Also because of the fact we only need about 2 days to film everything we need. Then I edit for about 2 days which is more than enough time to get it done. I already have been thinking about ideas that work with our theme really well. I have been thinking about it a lot and it seems perfect in my head. Hopefully the weather is not as bad as it was Monday so a setback like that does not happen again. But if is does we need to know how to compromise and we would use our back up plan. Even though I like our original one better. We are planning to go to the park again to film like we did today so everything seems to be on track. I checked the weather for the rest of the week and it seems fine. We also have plans of filming at the mall if weather is bad again. Still it is really unfortunate how Monday turned out, but you have to keep going when things go wrong. I am very hopeful about the rest of the week. And I know that the members of my group are too.
