What should we do?

We recognize that our original idea may not work for a number of reasons. Which is why we decided to come up with a back up plan. The back up plan will give off more of an isolated atmosphere. The idea is to film someone wearing ragged clothes and disheveled hair walking alone in an uncomfortable environment. We will have title captions appear on the environment in which they are running. We will use silence to help with the feelings. Then when the person steps on something breakable we will make it loud. At the end it will show the person chasing the other person then the name of the director will show. The person who is chasing after the other will wear a ski mask. Along with the reveal of the chaser we will have the silence break and be replaced with the runner breathing heavily. Our second pitch is to have there being a person running from people that are trying to hurt/harm them. It would be taking place on a sidewalk. The person would look tired to show that they have been running for a while. It would be shot in a way that would make the viewer feel like “woah, what is happening”. That feeling would make them get more interested and want to find out what happens next. I was also thinking that after the person runs we see them hide behind a corner. After hiding behind the corner we would see a title and the opening credits would start. I decided that this would be a good pitch to use because it is an interesting concept. It is something that grabs your focus and makes you want to know more. 

Finding a group

      We are starting our Final task assignment which requires a group. And again I really enjoyed working with Rose and Luka on our last project. So I felt like working with them again is the best thing to do. They are all hard working and dedicated to doing a great job. We all got along and there weren't any arguments or disagreements or anything like that, and we did well on the Music video. We are friends and we all like each other and work well together. We text each other the day an assignment was due and make sure that everyone completed did it. We split the work between each other to make sure every one was doing their part. We worked well together on our last project and I am sure we can do it again. We already had some ideas for the genre that we wanted to do. There were talks about doing horror a while back. I am not against the idea, however I think we should think about it more. I feel that we should pick a genre after we have researched and talked about our options. I feel that we should keep our minds open, and do the genre that would best work for us. Also during our final task I feel like everyone should have their own thing to do. Seeing as though this assignment has so much more for us to do. We should all have an efficient way of splitting the work. We have to make sure that one person isn't doing more work than the others. I want to make a full schedule for everyone to know what they need to do and when. Since that would be the most effective way to get this done.

Hi everyone

 Greetings once again! I'm Vanessa, and today we are beginning to finish our final task. That task is making an Opening scene of a film. It appears to be really like our last assignment, yet with more parts. I'm eager to do this task, I feel like it will be fascinating. We can pick any genre that is suitable obviously. This task can be an extraordinary method for communicating your self and your inventiveness. It isn't something you ought to be sluggish about. You should make an honest effort and make it fun and intriguing or discouraging assuming that you need. That is the reason I am energized for this task since you can in a real sense pick anything you need. You might actually reproduce a subject from your cherished program or a game that you like. I in all actuality do have a few thoughts for what I need to do. I sort of need to rotate the video around the picked tune. Chiming in certain scenes, while acting it out in others. I also  need there to be numerous settings that connect with the video. We can chose any thing we want to do. I need the final task to be astounding, I am going to be a great director for the task. I'm certain the editing I accomplish for the opening sequence will be preferable over the one for the last assignment our class had. However, i totally can hardly wait to have a more strong thought. All I know is I need to make a video where individuals say wow when they watch it. I need to make it something so astonishing that everybody loves it.

   Yay! so me and my group have fully finished since yesterday. How amazing is that, another project done right. I had fun with this one since I got to go out and film this time. We all worked hard and did our best. I feel like the music video is great since we made it ourselves. I am so proud of what we have accomplished. It was really fun and I can't wait to do it again. Me and my group work well together, this wouldn't have been possible without our team work. And our dedication. Now let us see the video!

                                                          Editing our music video

   hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am continuing to edit our music video. By ours I mean my group of course. I was in the middle of of doing it yesterday and all I can say is stressful. I am sort of a perfectionist and every little thing I see as wrong upsets me. Then I try to fix it but I always see a problem it in. So for editing looking at it makes me think of all the things that are wrong with it. so I decided to start again. I looked at all the clips and resized them and cut them. To make sure they perfectly in landscape. Also so they don't see the little mistakes or delayed starts we had. I again change the speed of some of the scenes because I felt they were either too long or too short. I also added our music and made the song a little louder. I added a fade in to start since I didn't want it to feel like a sudden start. I also plan to do the same thing when I get to the end. I changed the sharpness of the scenes, doing that increases the quality. It didn’t take too long since I did it all before. I feel like the quality of our scenes are amazing and doing this highlights that fact. Also I had the mix the scenes together to make our story clear. I am not done yet, but I am almost finished. I can’t wait to see what it looks like all done. I know I will be proud of what every I end up doing.

Time to edit

 Hello again! Yesterday me and my team went to the park and got all of our filming finished. Yayyy, big accomplishment. It went completely well and it was really fun. We have some long scenes that could be a pain to edit. The editing part will be more time consuming than fun though. So I have to start the editing today. I mostly definitely won’t get it done right now though. Since I am doing all of the editing for my group. Alone! But that is fine since I know how to edit pretty well. First for the music video I have to first download the song and add it in. Which I did using Spotify, I then cut the song to make it shorter. Making sure that I did at a good spot and then fading out the sound, so it doesn’t sound like it ended abruptly. I then add add the first clips in. I like to add transitions when I edit, I ended up wanting to do that later. I took off the sound of the clips, so that you can’t hear us talk. I also changed the hue/saturation a little to something I liked more. I then added that to the clips. Then I started to cut the clips that were too long. And changing the timing of clips to match the sound well. I didn’t finish with that but I will continue later.
